All cats are not created equal! Some people spend their lives trying to breed as many different cat breeds as possible, talking about each one for how spectacular they are.
They seem to have it in their heart to promote every feline as higher than the other ones. Especially the unique perfections that only they could create.
This is great if you live with them, but what if we asked you whether there were enough cats in the world? Probably not. We’d say that there aren’t even close to enough Siamese cats.
We’re being very serious here so let us look at some hard numbers. According to most sources, there are somewhere between 1,000 and 2,500 recognized cat breeds. That’s a lot of variations!
But wait, why does it matter how many types of cats there are? Because someone always has to pick which type of cat anyone wants to own!
It can be pretty annoying deciding whether to get another kitten. Because there isn’t enough of this one specific kind anymore.
So before you make any plans, ask yourself two questions: (1) Do I want a dog or a cat? (2) Will my choice of pet survive more than three years? If your answer to both of these questions is yes then there should be no trouble finding your new best friend.
Scottish fold
The Scottish fold is one of the most unique cat breeds you will find. They are also one of the easiest to identify. Scottish folds have very smooth, glossy coats that come in many different colors.

Since their breed has such a short coat, grooming is an easy way to keep them happy and healthy. Because of this, experienced owners may choose to perform some of these tasks for the animal.
But, make sure to use a soft brush and take your time to avoid damaging the fur or pulling it away from the skin.
Some people believe that since Scotch folds love to be petted and carried around. They are more likely to bite than others. This could only prove otherwise as most cats enjoy gentle touches.
If there is any sign that your dog is uncomfortable being touched or asked to meet another dog. Chances are he/she is looking for a new home!
Because of their low maintenance hair and socialization requirements. Scottish folds are a beautiful choice.
